New Batman Movie.

So Christopher Nolan has released the new villains for the next Batman movie. It's apparently going to be Bane and Catwoman. You may remember the former from Batman & Robin, the live action 1997 movie where he was a green steroid-abusing caveman-junkie who followed Uma Thurman around and spoke in grunts and groans.
This Bane is going to be played by Tom Hardy, who also played Charles Bronson in the 2008 movie Bronson (Good movie, I definitely recommend looking it up if you haven't seen it) and Eames in the 2010 movie  (Also fantastic) Inception.
Hopefully this depiction of Bane will be more like the comic books depicted him instead of the 1997 movie.
Thoughts on this? Think Tom Hardy will manage to do a decent job following Heath Ledgers amazing Joker, especially considering the much smaller following Bane has?

I am so stoked for this movie to come out. The Dark Knight has by far been the best Batman movie to hit the screens. Finally Wayne is being portrayed as a VIGILANTE like he should be!!

I want to do my best to avoid any trailers or ads for this movie before seeing it. It's enough that I know who is in it and who they're playing, I'd like to be as blind as I can about it.

WHOA! can't wait til it comes out man Hardy was amazing in Bronson. I really never read the comics but I do hope they use the orignal and not some stupid new updated version (kinda like the joker) to impress kids. "0MG Y SO SRSLY? LOL JOKER IZ SO KEWL!!"

I really dislike the idea of Bane and Catwoman. I'd much rather see The Riddler and Penguin personally, but Nolan seemingly knows what he's doing.

Hopefully Halle Berry doesn't play Catwoman again.

I think the Dark Knight was a little overrated. Not that i didn't like the movie, i did. But the death of Ledger made the audiences go crazy. My opinion :)

I'm actually looking forward to this. I recently got into DC comics and have been reading through a lot of them and suddenly have a large respect for the original works these movies come from.

Hm.. I don't know if it will be that easy for Mr. Hardy. Bane is pretty hard to play, if you've read Knightfall you might get what I mean.
But I still think he will do it well. Maybe not perfect but atleast well. :)

I'm not so worried about Bane as I am about Anne Hathaway playing Catwoman. It wouldn't take much for her to botch the role.
