Captain America!

Yeah, yeah. I know I've only been posting about Super Hero movies the last few days, but I swear, I'll take a break after this one!
First off, just look at this poster. This movie looks like it's going to be excellent. Captain America will be played by Chris Evans, who some of you may remember as one of the numerous villains in Scott Pilgrim or the lead character in Push. Evans said the movie is going to try and strike a balance between the fantastical Spider-Man and the much darker Batman, much like the recent Iron Man movies.
Judging by the  rather short trailer (Which I'll link at the bottom), I think Evans should be able to pull this role off pretty well.
The film will follow Steve Rogers, who after failing enlistment into the Army (Which is quite a feat, especially during WWII), is inducted into Project: Rebirth, a secret operation run by the military to produce super soldiers.
But who will be able to stand up to someone glorious enough to be named Captain America?

Hugo Weaving, that's who. Awesome. He'll be portraying The Red Skull, Hitler's head of advanced weaponry and commander of the terrorist group, HYDRA. The Red Skull may not be quite as big as the Joker, but he's certainly earned a following as the 14th best rated comic book villain of all time.

You can also expect to see Tommy Lee Jones playing Col Chester Philips and Samuel L Jackson reprising his role as Nick Fury.
Looks like this movie will be out on July 22 (I think they should have shot for the 4th) of this year along with a video game for the 360, Wii, PS3, PSP, and DS.

What do you guys think? Which one are you looking forward to more? Captain America or Thor?

My brother sent me a link to a video of the Captain America trailer the other day but it had "America, Fuck Yeah!" dubbed over instead of the original sound. It was actually pretty hilarious.

I'm as big fan of super heroes as the next guy, but I think that this comic boom has ran out of control. Thor sucked and Capt. Am. will probably suck too!

IMO Thor movie will be greater than this one. I'm glad they're really following what they started with Iron Man.

I'm personally looking forward to Thor more but Captain America should be pretty good to, the preview looked alright. They should have cast Randy Couture in the role.
